I managed to get my hands on enough lumber to make four snare drums from this beautifully figured zebrawood. The drum you see in the pictures on this listing is the second drum to be made from this wood. That means there will only ever be two more of these available for sale, as this specific drum this listing takes its pictures from has already been sold, if you purchase today I will be building you another one from scratch. Die cast hoops, brass tube lugs, a DW mag strainer and 3-position butt plate, all gold plated hardware, 30 strand wires, and a special antique brass HHG badge that is reserved for specialty\/prototype snares. It sounds better than it looks, super crisp, focused, tons of volume, all while retaining excellent sensitivity and response through all tuning ranges. Not to not to mention the warm, woody tone that you can only achieve from zebrawood radiates from this shell.
