So we took our award-winning contoured Ash Stave snare drum and scaled it up to make this visionary 3-piece kit.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eEach drum shell is made from scratch. We start by selecting the highest quality North American white ash Lumber. The lumber is then milled into segments with angles on the edges called staves. All of the staves are glued together to form a blank, and the blank is then machined into a perfect cylinder inside and out. The central curved contour in each drum is then cut by hand. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ePlaying drums that are made from solid wood rather than plywood is a truly game-changing experience. The presence, tone, and expressive qualities you can achieve from this type of drum towers above any other type of drum shell Construction.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eWe topped off the immaculately built shells with our custom mirror gloss lacquer finish in a blue burst transparent candy.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eFinally, the shells are dressed with only the highest quality components. Black nickel over solid brass tube lugs, 12.7 mm floor tom legs and brackets with memory locks, heavy duty telescoping bass drum legs, Precision machined 2.3 mm triple flanged hoops, all Evans drumheads, and of course a diecast antique silver hhg badge.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis kit is the Pinnacle of our achievements here  at HHG.
