HHG 14x7 Cherry And Purple Heart Stave Snare, High Gloss Lacquer

The wood in this drum is beyond exceptional and unique. I recently managed to get my hands on enough lumber to make quite a few snare drums from this beautifully figured purpleheart. 

It's a 14x7 stave shell, 1/2" thick shell, black nickel tubes, trick strainer, all black nickel plated hardware, 30 strand wires, and a die cast badge.

It sounds better than it looks, super crisp, focused, tons of volume, all while retaining excellent sensitivity and response through all tuning ranges. And an excellent staccato attack to the rim shot that will cut through the noise and let your backbeat be heard!!

This could be a real work-horse snare, excellent for studio or live work.
