This snare is made from solid wood! No plywood here. Just individual pieces of solid lumber; featuring three unique species: Zebrawood, Spalted Maple, and American White Ash. Each species lends its particular flavor to the instrument to create the overall tone of the drum.

We dressed this drum with classic Chrome Hardware, featuring 10 signature hhg single point lugs, 2.3 mm triple flanged Hoops, internal tone control mechanism with aluminum CNC machine operation knob, Evans drum heads, puresound custom Pro 24 strand brass snare wires, diecast air vent, antique silver diecast hhg badge, a diecast butt plate, and a vintage style strainer.

This is a classic hhg solid stave snare... Tons of tone, articulation, and Power. Sounds great in all tuning ranges, and would be perfectly at home in the studio or on the road.
