HHG Drums 14x6 Beechwood, Slate Burst High Gloss Lacquer

I wanted to create a snare that was simple, effective, was understated class and sophistication. The Slate burst high-gloss maple snare was the result.

This snare is based around a 13 ply big leaf maple shell. This species is an excellent tonewood that is often overlooked due to its scarcity in North America. It is a hugely popular species in Europe, mainly due to its abundance. Is a very hard wood, but just slightly softer than the hard maple used in the majority of modern drums. This gives it a more wet, round, fat tone.

We kept the finish on the snare classy. It has a natural to sleep first high gloss lacquer that allows that oh-so-subtle Beachwood green show through.

ÃÂÃÂÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂThe hardware on this drum is simple, clean, and effective. It features black nickel over brass tube lugs, 42 strand snare wires, 2.3 mm triple flanged hoops, a diecast air vent, but plate, and antique silver HHG badge. In the provided picture all of the hardware is black nickel plated though we could do it in any flavor you would like.
