HHG Drums 14x7 African Mahogany Stave Snare 2022 Natural Gloss Lacquer

14x7 solid mahogany stave snare drum. We decided to keep it simple, classic, and beautiful with this drum. We started with a private reserve piece of top-notch African mahogany, and made a 17 mm thick solid Stave shell
.
From there we added a flawless high gloss lacquer, in a totally natural color to showcase the incredible grain of the mahogany. We outfitted it with classic solid brass 3.5 inch tube lugs, a vintage style strainer, diecast butt plate, a low profile antique silver diecast HHG badge, our newly redesigned internal tone control mechanism, and a set of heavy 2.3 mm triple flange hoops. Finally we topped it off with genuine Evans drum heads , and some Puresound  30 strand brass snare wires.

This drum is exactly what every drummer needs in their snare arsenal. Something Beautiful, but understated. A drum that can musically do everything from heavy metal to the fluffiest jazz.

As with all of our drums and listings shown, when you place an order with HHG Drums, your new instrument will be hand-crafted in house, from scratch. The drum shown in the pictures was built for a customer, and now resides with them. We would love to build one for you!
