HHG drums 14x7 Wenge And Ash Stave 2020 Natural Satin

We've been playing with a lot of Blended Steve shells in the shop recently; this is our most recent experiment in that vain.

We took two of our favorite species, North American White Ash, and West African wenge and combine them into one shell. Both of these species are very hard, with the wenge being slightly more dense and fibrous. Both of these two tone Woods sound fantastic on their own, but when paired together they create a fantastically bright sounding instrument that the two could not produce separately. Also, the Aesthetics of the alternating creamy white ash, and nearly black dark brown wenge is a  fantastic looking juxtaposition that only nature could create.

We dressed this drum with classic Chrome Hardware, featuring 10 signature hhg single point lugs, 2.3 mm triple flanged Hoops, internal tone control mechanism with aluminum CNC machine operation knob, Evans drum heads, puresound snare wires, diecast air vent, antique silver diecast hhg badge, and last but not least this is our first build using the new Arch strainer and butt plate; it's a fantastically heavy duty snare throw off with beautiful lines, and smooth action.
