HHG drums Stained glass acrylic snare drum

The HHG stained glass snare drum. The concept for this drum was to take the beauty of stained glass and apply it to a snare drum. We wanted to do this in a way that captured the aesthetic of stained glass, but also made for a durable and the road-worthy instrument.

We achieved this by using a custom acrylic shell with the stained glass graphic applied to it. The reason we used acrylic is because we wanted the drum to be somewhat transparent. The drum features an internal LED light system (go watch the YouTube video linked in this listing forba demo) that comes with a color changing remote control. You can turn the LED lights inside the drum on, and it illuminates the entire drum from the inside out.

The LED system can be configured via the remote to do various color changing patterns, or you can select individual colors and have the LEDs stay on that color. The LED system has a battery pack inside the drum, and a charging port on the exterior of the drum. The battery can be charged by simply plugging a USB cable into the drum.

The drum features oil rubbed bronze hardware, 10x heavy duty HHG tube lugs, heavy duty 2.3mm triple flange hoops, top of the line Evans drum heads, and pure sound snare wires.

The drum diameter is 14", and the depth can be customized to your liking anywhere between 5" in and 7".

This is a truly one of a kind drum that will turn heads anywhere you take it, not just because of how it looks, but also because of the incredible sound.

The drum features a thick, seamless, cast acrylic shell with hybrid 45°/ round over bearing edges. The drum is incredibly sensitive, and articulate. It has tons of power and attack when you need it, but can also be delicate and subtle when that is what is called for.
